TruSens UV Bulbs operate in the UVC spectrum which is proven to irradiate / sterilize germs and viruses. When used with TruSens, it irradiates and sterilizes germs trapped by the HEPA filter to prevent further re-circulation and spread.
Each model of TruSens has its own UV bulb custom designed to fit its casing.
Under regular use, TruSens Specialty HEPA Filters only need to be replaced when busted, and will normally last between 2-3 years. Look for indicator light on TruSens panel when replacement is needed.
